Creating Your Account & Getting Started
Creating a UKETA Learning account is free and takes less than a minute. Click "Join For Free" in the top menu, or go to the registration page directly, and fill in your name, email address, and a password.
Once registered, you land on your personal Dashboard, where you can browse courses, track your progress, view your certificates, and manage your profile, all in one place.
You do not need any prior experience or qualifications to join. Every course on UKETA is designed to be accessible to beginners.

Browsing and Choosing a Course
Visit the Courses page to see our full catalog, organized into categories like Career Development, Education & Training, Personal Development, and Networking & Resources.
Use the search bar on the homepage or Courses page to quickly find a course by keyword. Each course page shows a full curriculum preview, the instructor's profile, real student reviews, and a short trailer where available, so you know exactly what you're signing up for before you pay.
Course prices on UKETA typically range from UShs 80,000 to UShs 250,000, and every purchase includes lifetime access, so there is no subscription or renewal to worry about.

How to Pay for a Course
UKETA Learning accepts Mobile Money and Debit/Credit Cards, processed securely through Pesapal, a trusted East African payment gateway. We never store your full card or mobile money details on our own servers.
To pay: add a course to your cart, go to checkout, and complete payment through the secure Pesapal window. As soon as payment is confirmed, you're automatically enrolled and can start learning immediately, there's no waiting period.
If a payment doesn't go through, nothing is charged and no enrollment is created. If you were charged but don't see access to the course, contact support with your payment reference and we'll resolve it quickly.

Accessing Your Course After Purchase
After a successful purchase, your course appears immediately under "Continue Learning" on your Dashboard. Click it to jump straight into the learning player.
Access is for life. Once you've bought a course, it stays in your account permanently, you can revisit lessons, re-download resources, and rewatch videos as many times as you like, at your own pace.
For Students
Using the Learning Player
Each course is organized into topics and lessons, shown in the sidebar on the left of the learning player. Click any lesson to open it, video, quiz, or written notes, depending on how that lesson is built.
Below the video, you'll find a "My Notes" box for your own private notes on that lesson (these save automatically and are never shared with anyone), and, where the instructor has provided them, downloadable resources like worksheets or slides.
Every completed course also gives you a "My Notes" summary page from your Dashboard, a clean, downloadable, printable record of everything you jotted down across every lesson.
For Students
Taking Quizzes and Tracking Progress
Some lessons include a short quiz instead of a video. Answer the questions and submit; you'll immediately see your score and whether you passed. If you don't pass, you can review the material and retake it right away, there's no limit on attempts.
For video lessons, the "Mark as Complete" button only appears once you've watched at least 80% of the video, so your progress bar always reflects real learning, not just clicking through.
Your overall course progress is shown as a percentage on your Dashboard and in the course sidebar, updating in real time as you complete each lesson.
For Students
Earning, Downloading & Verifying Your Certificate
Complete every lesson in a course and your certificate is issued automatically, no extra request needed. You'll see a celebration screen with a direct link to view it, and we also email you a copy.
All UKETA Learning certificates are accredited by Ibanda University and carry a unique Credential ID. Anyone can verify a certificate is genuine using the "Verify a Certificate" page and that ID, no login required.
From the certificate page you can download a real image copy for your records, or share it directly to X, Facebook, WhatsApp, or add it straight to your LinkedIn profile with one click.
For Students
Managing Your Profile & Password
Go to "My Profile" from your Dashboard to update your name, email, phone number, or profile photo at any time.
To change your password, enter your current password along with your new one on the same page. If you've forgotten your password entirely, use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page to receive a secure reset link by email.
For Students
Gifting a Course to Someone Else
On any course page, click "Gift this Course" and enter the recipient's name and email. You'll complete payment as usual, and the recipient is enrolled automatically once payment clears, even if they don't have an account yet, one is created for them.

Rewards & Referring Friends
UKETA Learning runs an affiliate program: apply from your account, and once approved you get a unique referral link. Anyone who signs up or purchases through your link is tracked automatically, and you earn a real commission on their purchases.
Your affiliate dashboard shows your referrals, conversions, and earnings in real time.

Apply through the "Become a Coach" page with a bit about your background and what you'd like to teach. Once your application is approved, you get full access to the instructor dashboard to build and publish your first course.

From your instructor dashboard, you can create a new course, build out its curriculum with unlimited topics and lessons, and add video, quiz, or written-notes content to each one, plus downloadable resources like worksheets.

Video Won't Play or Keeps Buffering
First, check your internet connection, video streams smoothly on most standard broadband or mobile data connections. Try refreshing the page, or switching browsers (Chrome and Safari both work well).
If a specific video consistently fails to load, contact support with the course and lesson name so we can check it on our end.
