As a finance professional, the public speaking course has given me a better insight on understanding and engaging my audience which is mostly helpful in my presentation of financial reports and business performance to different stakeholders. May takeaways are 1. I am the presentation and the slides are just a visual aid support 2. Understanding my audience and delivering a clear and concise message is very important 3. Practice, practice, practice so that the speech is apart of you to avoid panicking, maintain eye contact and keep in movement to engage the whole audience.
